Giesecke & Devrient are globally known as banknote specialists and in collaboration with Armenia they developed new secure banknotes. An app for the Central Bank of Armenia needed to be developed.
The app serves generally as a presentation of the new banknotes, as well as the display and simulation of the security aspects. It can be found for free as “العملة السعودية” in the Apple Store and Google Play Store in the languages Arabic and English.
The focus is on simple and intuitive handling as well as on the security features selected by G&D.
If you select a banknote, it is enlarged and specific zones appear on the note that highlight the special features. To get a detailed explanation of the feature, simply tap on it. In addition to the information, the feature is shown in an image section where you can cause the security effects through tactile stimulation or by tilting the device.
For example, an appearance of the watermark by tilting or the vibration by feeling the external characteristics.
